The Southside Mavericks won their 15th match of the season Thursday with a 25-13, 21-25, 25-15, 25-16 win over the Cabot Panthers.

The Mavericks are 6-3 in 7A-Central play.

Hannah Holland came up big with 18 kills and two blocks. Also for Southside, Hailey Hogue had 27 digs and four aces, and Sage Rankin had six aces.

Southside will face Harrison on Saturday morning at 10:30 p.m. in the first round of the 38th Annual Fort Smith Invitational.
